Happy Mother's Day!!

It all started with this woman!  I am lucky enough to call her my mom...and because of her, I am blessed to have children of my own that call me mom :)  Thank you mom for being the most amazing mother anyone could ever wish for, I love you!
Mother's Day weekend kicked off Friday with a party at Ashlyn's preschool - "mommy makeover' :)  They had stations set up to do hair, makeup, nails, and then a treats table with cookies and lemonade.  It was adorable!!  I was fully prepared to walk out of there looking like a clown, but I should have known that Ashlyn would use her fine tuned makeup and nail polish skills....I walked out looking better than I looked when I walked in!  Too funny.  She's such a girly girl!!
They gave us a bunch of gifts, I had tears!  I will probably say this 5 times during this post, but I LOVE being a mom.  I feel so incredibly lucky to have 3 AMAZING children.  I can't ask for anything more in life.

I SO cherish her hugs and kisses :)  I hope she never stops giving me hugs, even when she's a cranky teenager!
I woke up Sunday morning to a TON of surprises!!  Tony went all out this year!  There were flowers, a coffee mug that says "one wonderful mom", cards from each of the kids + Tony, and a gift certificate for MULTIPLE massages!!  I couldn't believe it!  He really did it up this year.  Thank you babe, I truly appreciate everything!!

For some reason I couldn't rotate these next few pics, so you'll have to stretch to read them!  At school Ashlyn filled in this 'survey' about me.  I just laughed and laughed! "My mother's favorite thing to do is go to work?!?"  I'm assuming she copied from the person next to her.  Lol!  And hey, I'll take being 16 years old any day!  I'm sure she's referring to how YOUNG I look. Ha :)

Some of my special gifts :)  Flowers from Ashlyn...and this book that Chase made was HILARIOUS!  The drawings he made were absolutely hysterical.  I will be keeping it forever!

Just this picture of "my mom and me" makes me laugh so hard!  I'm on the right, with the triangle dress.  Lol
Tony hit it out of the park with this card from Chase.  I must have laughed for a full minute reading this.  SO appropriate!!!
This keeps loading upside down and I'm not sure why.  But it says "I'd use another word, but I don't want to get my mouth washed out with soap."  HAHA  We have had our struggles with Chase using some completely inappropriate words for a 6 year old, so this was just too funny!!

Happy Mother's Day to ALL of the moms, stepmoms, grandmas, great grandmas, moms-to-be, and anyone who has the heart of a momma and treats someone like their own child.  Being a mom is the BEST thing in the world!!
