After a fun filled few weeks in MI, we are back home safe and sound....and sad :( We had such an awesome trip and had so much fun with Gaga, Grandpa Joe, Kim, Katie, Ryan, our aunts and uncles, cousins, and THE DOGS! Lol I am sure my mom is laughing right now. I will post pictures of our trip next and expand on that topic :) I just had to tell about our trip home because it's almost hard to believe how GOOD it went. I was fully prepared for a nightmare of a trip, and it turned out the complete opposite. What a relief!! They always say to prepare for the worst and expect the best...and I can honestly say that usually we get the worst. Everything that could have gone wrong, went right! Security was a breeze and this extra nice TSA employee helped us through the line so it was super easy. Then once we boarded the plane, the kids made an instant friend in the row in front of us who helped keep them entertained for part of the flight. Then, one of the flight attendants walked up to our row and stretched out her arms and said "can I take your baby for awhile and go chat with the other flight attendants up front?" Um, YES PLEASE! Next, Chase had to use the bathroom and I let him go by himself and told him to ask one of the flight attendants how to open and lock the door, etc. Well, about 5 minutes after he sat back down, she stopped by our row and said "I just had to let you know that you have the most polite son I've ever met...he has the best manners." HUH? Are you sure you're talking about Chase? Lol How refreshing to hear such a nice compliment! And last, check out the pics below. 1.5 hours of 3 sleeping kids, all at the same time. I sat as still as a statue, despite my leg feeling like it had disconnected from my body, but it was worth it! Any mom flying with kids knows not to move a millimeter once the kids fall asleep...especially with a sleeping baby on your lap. I love being able to write about something so positive!!! I was so proud of my kiddos yesterday :)
One sleeping kid...
Two sleeping kids....
THREE sleeping kids!!! Thank you to whoever was looking out for me yesterday :)
